I was drawn to Julie Werbelow’s water color paintings due to the emotion they display in a simple yet realistic style. I was most attracted to her depiction of animals and children. Julie has an eye and hand for the smallest detail that can tug at your heart. I met Julie back in 2019 we have gotten to know each other through her adopting not one but two of my golden retrievers. I asked Julie in May of 2022 to do a watercolor for me in remembrance of someone I loved that had passed on she did a fantastic job. And brought tears to my eyes. I again asked Julie to do another picture of a loved one she nailed it on spot..My dad's birthday was coming up and there was a car he loved to drive during days of 49 which would be my dad's great uncle cub Collingwood who had a 67 Pontiac gto called tonto well known in greybull. As cub owned Collingwood motors let's just say Julie than nailed that one again water painting that picture with my dad driving the car as what we call chief Pontiac (aka the Indian that used to sit at the old probst store) as his passenger. When handing him that gift on his birthday and his friend Lenny Jennings giving it away already it was a secret brought tears to his eyes.. Julie is talented in her art work and very reasonable on pricing.. she puts her heart and soul into it like she does those retrievers..

Julie is an incredibly talented artist. I commissioned her to create a portrait of my friends cat who had recently passed. Julie was very receptive to all the things I asked for in the portrait, and sent me pictures of her progress with the peice. She completed the work timely, and my friend loved the portrait.
